White flowers for Dad - Poem

A knock at midnight,
Woke me up,
Opened the Door when,
With half closed eyes,
Oh my younger Bro,
Fear in his eyes,
Got mom’s call,
Dad isn’t right,
We have to go,
Getting car outside,
Spoke in one breath,
Made me surprise.

Poem in english, english poem
Poem White Flower for Dad
Abandoned roads,
Dominated dark,
Seemed other planet,
Felt Alien I was,
Bro drive fast,
Endless roads,
Leading nowhere at last,
Wished it a nightmare,
Prayed to god.

Heard phone ringing,
Oh mom’s call,
Got near fountain,
Carrying your dad,
Wait there at road,
Hospitalizing your dad.

A picture floated,
In front of my eyes,
Sitting together Dad and I,
Dad telling untold experience,
Which heard many time,
But excitement same,
As had heard first time,
Reflected committed mistakes,
Mom’s red face with angry eyes,
Reflected unsaid things,
Left in my head.

Happy Moments
Oh again mom’s call,
Come direct home,
Take Dad in morning,
with a long pause,
Developed picture again,
Finger crossed,
Everything was fine,
But wished to be a bird,
Really at that time.

Saw old bridge,
Like light house for a ship,
Got out of the car,
Found waiting millions stars,
Heard stream singing in dark,
Moon at top,
Appeared looking for us,
Who standing in white,
At stream bank.

The Night Sky
We climbed up the peak,
Stars leading ahead,
Path following behind,
Bro my left side,
Silence in white,
My right side,
And whole world,
Seemed falling behind.

Trees woke up,
When heard quite march,
In dark, Parrots whispered something,
Found difficult to spot,
At one bend,
Met fountain friend,
Have some rest, said,
Catch your breath,
How could stop,
When Dad counting on us.

At mountain top,
Standing giant Pines tresses,
Cold breeze pulled my hand,
The moon started leading ahead,
Now few steps were left.

Near Home
Heard loud Jacky’s bark,
Heard People sitting around fire,
One hand on wall,
Stepped on the stairs,
Rushed in the house,
Saw many people there,
But Dad wasn’t anywhere.

Someone covered lying on floor,
All sitting there around,
Left us your Dad,
Mom cried,
Uncovered the face,
No my Dad is right,
My dad is fine,
I bent on knees,
Got near Dad,
A stream of tears flooded down,
Dad’s heart not beating,
Not breathing at all.

Dad wake up for me,
Where affection gone,
I’ll obey you,
Follow your command,
I’ll read you,
My new poem ‘Dawn’.

What eyes watching,
This heart accepting,
I had lost,
My dearest first time,
Dad will wake up,
The hope was alive,
But people convincing,
Your Dad not alive,
Alive is my dad,
In my heart forever,
He would talk,
Like did ever,
Got drowned in an ocean,
Disappeared this world,
Chasing a shadow,
Followed by dark,
This body wasn’t enough,
Oh my Krishna,
Where have you been.

Watch ticking,
Night sitting beside,
Silent at corner,
Made me little surprise,
Silent took night by hand,
Caller her outside,
My eyes at door,
Silent night not outside.

A golden beam rushed in,
Following Sun behind,
Many people gather there,
Everyone surprised,
Final journey someone said,
Overheard outside.

The Sun Rise
Four people lifted,
Carried Dad outside,
Mom couldn’t stop her,
Seemed mountains crying,
When echoed Mom’s cry,
Lifted Dad on shoulders,
Covered in white,
Storm got silent there,
When Mom said,
Final good bye.

The path slowly leading down,
Behind the golden beam,
The Sun standing at top the mountain,
While the moon following down,
Path covered with wet leaves,
Like winter had come here.

Friend fountain in grief,
Dove flying in sky,
Fountain jumped into stream,
Path met with a lane,
When bridge had left behind,
Some said top crying.

Bear foot walking,
Drifted in thought,
Came to my senses,
When heard stream’s roar,
Two streams meeting,
Giant river appeared,
People called it,
Meeting point.

The Fire
Pyre covered with flowers,
Dad lying over there,
He will wake up,
Last hope was there.
My hands around Dad’s face,
Kissed on forehead,
The moon passed fire torch,
Saw Dad last time.
