The Christmas Surprise - Story

It was winter, and snow was falling. Everywhere houses and trees were covered with snow. It was looking like nature had been covered in white dress. Lakes and rivers were frozen, and fishes were swimming under the thick layer of lakes and rivers, and jolly kids were skating on it.

The Snow Fall In Town

A little girl named Merry and her family were skating in a very beautiful day. Cold breeze was blowing while Merry was skating like flying in the sky. 

‘Mom, only 5 days are left for Christmas and when we baking cookies’, Merry came to her mother.
 ‘Oh my sweet heart we`ll bake today’.
 “Then in evening, let`s go to market to buy ingredients’, dad smiled.
‘Yippy! Thanks mom and dad’, Merry jumped with joy.

 In evening, they went for shopping and bought all the ingredients. Merry’s parents saw her and thought to buy ice cream and some snakes for her.

Then Merry’s mom smiled, ‘we`ll buy a Christmas tree tomorrow’.
 ‘Yippy! Thanks mom you are the best’.

The Christmas Shopping

  At night in bed Merry was a little upset, ‘Alas! I wanted a doll house, but my parents have always said that you aren’t kid anymore; we will get a basket ball or other playing thing for you. Then Merry closed her eyes and tried to sleep.

At morning, Merry woke up at 5 am and went to her parent’s room and jumped on their bed, ‘Mom and dad wake up; it’s 5 am. Let’s hit the road and buy Christmas tree because only 3 days are left for Christmas, and we are falling behind in neighbor’.

‘Sweetheart please let us sleep 10 minutes more because shops are close’, dad smiled.
 ‘No mom and dad shops are open so do double and get ready’, Merry shook her parents.

After some time they got ready and went to market. Finding right tree wasn’t an easy job as they had thought. After a long hunt they got a big and beautiful tree. They took the tree home and started decorating it, and kept the Christmas presents under the tree.

Next morning, it was Christmas. Merry was animated with joy, and she was excited that what present Santa had given her. She wished once again, ‘please Santa give me a doll set’. Her dad sat on the sofa, ‘now it is time to open the presents; you come and join me’. After that they sat together and started opening the presents. First mom, unwrapped the gift and wow! What she got; it was a Santa slippers. Next dad opened, ‘what a amazing gift a Santa statue’, dad smiled. Next it was Merry turn she unwrapped and saw; it was doll set. She jumped with excitement, ‘thank you Santa for this gift’. After that she never said that I want a doll set.
